Brook Nightingale

Managing Director

Brook has over 15-years’ experience in marketing. He and Sarah started Before Creative in 2012 with the objective of delivering big results for less money. He offers invaluable strategic marketing advice, manages projects and makes all our clients look great. You can call him with any problem and he’ll get it sorted.

Mat Wearne


Mat is a team perfectionist with a keen eye for design and diverse technical ability and knowledge of all advertising mediums. With over a decade’s experience and a desk full of awards, Mat drives a high standard of creative output and won’t settle for anything less.

Sam Burnett


Sam started out as a freelance journalist, before realising that advertising was way more fun. Since that little revaluation in 2011, he’s worked on everything from one-man passion projects to some of Australia’s biggest brands. No matter the job, Sam’s all about finding solutions that are unexpected, attention grabbing and on brief.

Amy has a great passion for developing and nurturing brands and the people who engage with them. She has invaluable experience working across both agency and client side on jobs of all sizes.

Calli has a fine-tuned contemporary aesthetic and strategic sensibility. She’s an expert at creating identities for new brands, or transforming the look and feel of an existing brand into something bold and fresh.

Nick Gross


Nick has substantial experience in most areas of design from traditional printed collateral, to electronic media and even public art. He enjoys the flavour and variety of agency work and getting into the nuts and bolts of each new idea.
