The Moonah Arts Centre (MAC) is a community focused arts and cultural initiative bringing the arts to the suburbs and providing opportunities for minorities to be heard. Federal funding allowed Glenorchy City Council to build a state-of-the-art architecturally designed centre that was a long way from the original community hall premises.

Our brief was to create an identity that was both accessible and contemporary. The identity needed to act as a beacon and a voice for the local community as well as the artists, curators, teachers and performers who will all share their work with the community through MAC.

Inspired by the paths connecting Moonah to neighbouring communities, this identity speaks to the connections the Moonah Arts Centre has and will create.

“What a great team to work with! The Moonah Arts Centre now has a fantastic new identity and look courtesy of Before Creative. Our new signage, website and hard copy presence is contemporary, classy and fun. BC really understood our brief and interpreted it with creativity and sensitivity.”
